Field operations are operating under critically low staffing levels, driven by ongoing vacancies, reassignments, and deployments. These conditions are placing increasing strain on members and impacting the ability to consistently supervise probationers.

To effectively advocate on your behalf, the Local 685 Executive Board is collecting firsthand accounts from members working in the field. This information will be used to accurately represent current conditions in discussions with the Board of Supervisors, state policymakers, Probation leadership, and, where appropriate, the media.
